We went to Mazatlán and when we saw their process we realized that the effect they mentioned occurred when the can was put in the box. Since it was a small box, the structure was deformed a little.

 

We began to analyze by bringing together the corresponding areas to be able to come up with a solution.

The die-cutting and quality team looked for what to do so that the weight of the can, instead of affecting it, would help the box to close more. We saw that we could modify to reinforce the upper part, which is where the can is, so that it would not open and would close better.

 

It was a mutual accompaniment where we informed the client what we were doing, what they thought and, in the end, when we managed to have the result. We sent it to them for approval and they liked it a lot.
